jill greenberg:
This photograph shows a lot of emotion, as you can see the pain in the little boys eyes. But I don't know whether it is realistic or not. It looks so real yet it could be acted out for the photograph. The way the eyes droop and the tears roll down his cheek it makes me want to believe its realistic and it may well be realistic.
ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS in the style of jill Greenberg :I took these photos in the style of Jill Greenberg. Jill inspired me to take pictures of children with any sort of expression on their faces, and i tried take many photographs to get as many expressions as i can.

EDITTED PHOTOGRAPHS in the style of jill Greenberg :I edited these photos in the style of Jill Greenberg. I uploaded these on Photoshop and then colored the background with the paintbrush tool and used the healing tool to take away any marks and to cover the whole background. I also used the iris blur because I liked the way it gave curved edges. This edit then gave me a similar edit as Jill has done.

David hockney:
This is a self portrait of David Hockney. David Hockney inspires me to use old black and white photograph's and merge it with current photographs of the same person, for example i could do; my nan when she was young and her now.
David Hockney inspires me because he merges his photos together and edits them in a way which caught my eye. His paintings and photographs are eye catching and have a lot of detail to it.

I tried editing these photographs in the style of David Hockney. I duplicated the copy of the photograph to black and white and used history brush to add the original colour to make some of it black and white and some of its original colour. For example I edited the photograph with a black and white background and other photos with black and white face.

On Monday 26th we went on a trip to Solihul sixth form. We worked with a lot of students from the sixth form and got along really well. We were separated in different groups and put into three stations, I did graphics and learnt something new that day, and the other groups did fine arts and photography. I found the students that demonstrated their work to us were really kind and helpful. The school was a really nice environment to work in. With graphics, we did a lot of cutting and designing, and within my workshop I did a task to recreate a photo and add different layers and design it to something different to how it originally looked.

In these photographs i merged them within the styles of the artist Jill greenberg and David Hockney. I took photos with expressions on their faces and cropped them out and put them within the photo. I also added a blue background just like jill greenberg did.
